Chris Metters
Director
Having owned companies across these sectors, Chris is experienced in establishing businesses in challenging jurisdictions across the globe. His expertise extends to preparing a wide range of companies for acquisitions and mergers, as well as the acquisitions and disposals of companies in the aviation and logistics sector.
Chris is a trained auditor with a keen eye for detail and a laser focus on highlighting problems and providing innovative and creative solutions.
Chris advises on all aspects of compliance and risk, from operational focused sanctions screening, on-boarding and vendor registration to design of policy, risk assessment, strategic risk management, and mergers and acquisitions.
His understanding and skill in accounting, budgeting and financial issues in these niche sectors means he is well equipped to find practical solutions for clients and their accounting departments.

Hilary Blackburn
Director
Formally in the global worlds of media, graphics and exhibitions, Hilary led the corporate communications function for a global graphics PLC, where as part of a mergers and acquisitions team she was involved in the post-acquisition corporate integration of over 50 independent organisations across Europe, North America and the Asia Pacific Region.
Hilary has over 10 years’ experience in the aviation sector, managing the world-wide operational compliance function for a well-established global air charter organisation.
She advises on strategic and operational compliance and risk programmes for the air charter and logistics sector, NGO work in sanctioned regions, ISO9001 process management and internal communications, as well as providing training and preparation for business mergers and acquisitions.
In addition to the management of group risk policy and procedures, Hilary also supports humanitarian aid teams with niche compliance requirements, managing core banking relationships for aid into sanctioned regions and advising on unique licensing requirements for peacekeeping operations. This includes any shipments involving the armed forces, as well as military items.
